COVID-19 VIRUS – Update from the CEO, Brad Norman

The community lock down in Metro Cebu and neighbouring islands took effect today due to the evolving COVID 19 pandemic, I wanted to share with you some important information about the steps we’re taking to minimize the risk of exposure in our company.

Our greatest priority at this time is the health and safety of all our employees in the Company, our “extended’ family.

We are working hard to ensure our facilities are clean and hygienic for everyone. These measures include increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitation on all floors, including high-touch areas such as handrails and doors and providing complimentary hand sanitizer/alcohol to your team and in the reception areas. We will be providing Vitamin C to those employees who currently have limited means to purchase it, issued and consumed at work.  It is important at this time you stay healthy and well rested – you need to ensure you have at least 8 hrs per night – this is important to maintain your natural immunity to this virus.

At this time, we are keeping ahead of the “curve” to try to anticipate government directions and assist to slow down the transmission of the virus. Over the next 2 weeks we will be implementing a “Work from Home” (WfH) policy for all employees who are site non-essential and are able to WfH. Remote access to our infrastructure is being prepared and is  already in motion to make sure the transition will be smooth and least effect to productivity. It is important that you maintain a high level of professionalism and of course dedication to your work and employment during this period.  Working from Home entails a great deal of Trust and we believe you ALL can do this during this Crisis period. WE ALL NEED TO WORK TOGETHER DURING THIS PERIOD.

 Please ensure you can carry out what is expected from you to meet the requirements of your respective campaigns. This work from home set up will allow us to observe “social distancing” for those campaigns that won’t be viable in a WfH set up due to PCI DSS restrictions or if you are handling sensitive information of the customers.   For those who remain on site , we will implement “one seat apart” per agent ASAP. We need your full cooperation to ensure our commitment to our clients is met during this challenging time. 

We are actively following all health and travel advice issued by the Local Government of Cebu, including mandatory isolation periods for all employees returning from outside Cebu travel. We are also ensuring employees are  supported with clear health and hygiene protocols onsite, as well as providing the information and support for all those that need to stay at home if they are unwell for any reason.

Team, I know we can get through this, through dedication, diligence, determination and a bit of Divine intervention.  At times like these it is important that everyone becomes mindful and considerate, if you are ill – don’t come to work – stay away from interacting too closely with people and keep healthy. 

Also – I would like those who can or are willing to be prayerful and  look to God for help and assistance in this time – to ask for protection and deliverance from this dreaded illness and to ask for the fast recovery of those who are sick.  From this time onwards, I would ask ALL to devote 1 minute of your time every day at 12noon to pray for the safety of our loved ones, colleagues and friends and most of all that the health experts will find an immediate cure of this virus.

“Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; v10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. v11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”

Let’s be very prayerful and look to God for his hand of Protection and Deliverance.
